The Comptroller is a whole time officer of the University and appointed by the Vice-Chancellor   with the approval of the Board Management. He manages the property and investments of the   University, advise with regard to its financial policy, is responsible to the Vice-Chancellor for all   the financial matters of the University including the preparation of its budget and statement of   accounts. He also ensures that the expenditure not authorized in the budget is not incurred by   the University, except by way of investment approved by the Board; and ensures that all money belonging to the University, be kept in a Scheduled Bank.

The office of the Comptroller deals with the work of Budget, Establishment, Pension/GPF/CPF/NPS and Accounts including Store Purchase organization.
