The University has an Engineering Wing headed by Estate Office-cum-Head of Engineering Wing with one Executive Engineer along with supporting staff. The Wing is responsible for all civil works including infrastructure development and connected electrical works. It is also responsible in regard to custody, management and maintenance of the University Buildings, Roads, Fencing, Playgrounds, Parks, Lands, other than the land under Agricultural, Horticultural and Vegetable Farm UnitsThe University has Four Regional Research Centres at Badhana (Jind, 40 acre), Chansoli (Ambala, 81 Acre), Raiya (Jhajjar, 100 Acre), and Kharkhari (Bhiwani, 120 Acre) besides Regional Mushroom Research Centre at Murthal (Sonepat, 10 Acre). The University has 73 acre land at village Anjanthali and 65 acre at Uchani, District Karnal. The main campus of the University will be constructed at Uchani (Karnal).
The Engineering Wing has been assigned the responsibility for the development of the civil infrastructure of three RRCs namely Badhana (Jind), Chansoli (Ambala), Raiya (Jhajjar) and MHU campus Anjanthali. The development works of RRS, Kharkhari (Bhiwani) have been assigned to HSAMB as “Deposit Work”. The main campus of the University will be constructed by a Govt. of India, Public Sector Undertaking as “Deposit Work”. The construction of the same may start very soon.
The Engineering Wing has constructed Boundary Walls, Multipurpose Halls, Internal Roads, Tubewells etc. at various RRCs. It has also constructed three number of Laboratories, two Teaching Blocks and one Hostel for the College of Horticulture at Anjanthali Campus of MHU.
The construction of Administrative Blocks at RRC, Chansoli (Ambala) and RRC, Raiya (Jhajjar) is in progress and likely to be completed in the financial year 2024-25."
