The Research Farm, Anjanthali is located in block Nilokheri of district Karnal. It is approx. 21 km from district headquarter Karnal and is 146 km from Delhi and connected with railway station Nilokheri. The land for University campus Anjanthali was allotted in February, 2017 by the State Govt. through Development and Panchayats Department, Haryana.

Presently, Research Farm has approximately 71 acres of area under possession in two blocks.The Research Farm has three protected structures viz. High-Tech Green House (1728m2), Shade Net House (1008 m2) and Retractable Poly House (1024 m2) to raise the quality nursery and demonstration of protected cultivation of horticultural crops.

Activities Performed

• Research farm layout has been done with total survey station.
• As the soils of Anjanthali Farm are sodic in nature and low lying so initially land levelling, soil reclamation with gypsum, green manuring with dhaincha crop, drainage work was being done in area to improve the soil fertility.
• The demonstration of production technology of vegetable crops (coriander, spinach, radish, tomato, cauliflower etc. have been done.
• The plantation work of fruit crops have gradually started with jamun, guava, grape etc.
• To maintain the Anjanthali Campus green and beautiful, various types of ornamental trees, shrubs and flowering plants has been planted at Research Farm, Anjanthali.
• Various trainings have been organized at Research Farm and in village Anjanthali e. Quality Nursery Production in Hi- Tech Poly House, Training on Fruit Production for Enhancing Farmer Income, Diversification through Horticulture, Udhyana Diwas, Training on Vegetable Production Technology, Plantation drive on Har Ghar Tiranga Event, World Soil Day and Van Mahotsav.
